Cystic fibrosis drug’s trials successful.

May 04, 2009 (The Australian Financial Review – ABIX via COMTEX) — Australian biotechnology company, Pharmaxis, has revealed positive results from late-stage clinical trials of a new drug for cystic fibrosis. CEO Alan Robertson said that the company hopes to launch the product in late 2010. Sales could reach $US750 million ($A1 billion) a year.
